Updates

So, it’s been over a year since I’ve updated or posted anything on the website. This past year has been really different and challenging for me. I started a new job, teaching art an elementary school. Kids ore awesome, but they can be a little exhausting. Most of my creative energy has been devoted to creating a curriculum for the seven grade levels I teach and then redeveloping that curriculum once I actually assessed my students.

Free advice! Never, ever get a curriculum package that has kindergarteners painting as their first lesson. It just doesn’t end well.

In addition to the new job, I’ve been struggling with some health complications for a while. Nothing saps energy like being in and out of doctors’ offices and medication roulette. Hopefully I’ll be able to get those completely resolved and be back to my previous energy levels soon.

I will be posting more often on my blog and on Instagram and Facebook. I have no idea when the shop portion of the sight will be back up. I need to redo it and honestly? I really don’t like doing inventory and updating. So we’ll see.
